About the Role:

This position plays a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency across the organization by developing and executing planning strategies that align with business goals, optimize inventory flow, and enhance category performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory & OTB Management:
    • Monitoring inventory health and planning inward movement based on GMV, DOH, and STR targets is essential for ensuring optimal stock levels support sales and profitability goals.
    • Ambitious target-setting and proactive problem-solving are required to meet sales and profitability objectives.
  • Assortment & Selection Planning:
    • Creating season-level buy plans and assortment strategies using historical performance and revenue targets is crucial for achieving comprehensive category representation across product lines.
    • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills are necessary to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Performance Analysis & Optimization:
    • Reviewing style-level metrics including ROS, Sell-through, RPI, and RGM allows for identification of underperforming styles and implementation of corrective actions.
    • Proactive analysis and prompt action are required to address style-level issues and maintain high-performing product lines.
  • Category Expansion & Product Gaps:
    • Analyzing assortment gaps and recommending brand or category additions strengthens offerings and drives sales growth.
  • Pricing & Discount Strategy:
    • Collaborating with category teams to secure timely pricing controls (SOR/OR) ensures alignment with profitability and planned STR/GM/RGM.
    • Strategic thinking and effective communication are necessary to drive discounting strategies that balance profitability and sales goals.
  • Merchandising Operations:
    • Overseeing inbound planning, cataloguing, and discount monitoring ensures smooth execution of merchandising workflows with operational excellence.
    • Ambitious process improvement initiatives can enhance efficiency and accuracy while driving business results.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Applying a problem-solving mindset to planning challenges identifies opportunities for improvement and drives business outcomes.
