About the Job

  • We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Lead to drive project success with technical expertise and effective design standards.
  • This individual will develop system level specifications, optimize code, and ensure debugging and testing of complex SW/HW systems.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills are necessary for working with internal and external customers to understand project needs.
  • A key responsibility is leading requirement engineering collaboration to gather customer requirements.
  • The successful candidate will analyze prototypes, validate designed software, and document results.
  • Beyond these tasks, this role involves developing automated tools or scripts for validation environments, creating documentation, and contributing to overall quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor team members in embedded software development best practices, leadership techniques, and tools utilization.
  • Analyze project needs, provide guidance on selecting suitable design patterns, coding standards, and templates.
  • Assess defect trends, implement proactive measures to improve product quality, and manage delivery of embedded software.
  • Manage knowledge resources by reviewing reusable documents created by the team.
  • Conduct product demos, clarify customer requirements, and estimate resource dependence for projects.

About You

  • You have strong technical expertise in embedded software development and validation methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required for identifying and mitigating defects.
  • You possess excellent leadership and management skills, as well as experience managing teams and driving FAST goal setting.
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and time estimation skills are also required.
  • You are experienced in using various debug validation tools and methodologies.
