Software Engineer - Mobile and Web Applications

We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to design, build, and deploy innovative applications for student learning and engagement. The ideal candidate should be experienced in creating user-friendly, scalable, and interactive apps that enhance the student experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, and Deploy Applications: Design, develop, and deploy mobile (iOS/Android) and/or web applications with seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with Educators: Collaborate with educators and designers to understand student needs and translate them into app features.
  • Integrate Databases and APIs: Integrate databases, APIs, and third-party services for optimal performance and security.
  • Ensure Performance and Security: Ensure apps are optimized for scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Build Engaging Interfaces: Build engaging, student-friendly interfaces with modern UI/UX principles and intuitive navigation.
  • Test, Debug, and Maintain Applications: Test, debug, and maintain applications with continuous improvements and quality assurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android) and/or web application frameworks. Strong understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with UI/UX principles to design intuitive apps.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with educators and content creators. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Experience with gamification, edtech tools, or e-learning platforms is a plus.
