Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to take full ownership of the user interface layer across our digital products. This is a front-end engineering role focused on scalable architecture, performance, accessibility, and component reusability.

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will drive front-end strategy, shape our design system, and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality user experiences. You will also mentor engineers and set best practices that elevate code quality and team velocity.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Owning the architecture and evolution of the front-end codebase with scalable, modular, and maintainable design patterns.
  • Building reusable components and maintaining a shared design system for consistency across products.
  • Driving improvements in page performance, load time, and interaction responsiveness.
  • Ensuring accessibility (WCAG compliance), cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Implementing efficient state management using appropriate libraries or custom patterns.
  • Translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready UI with strong attention to detail.
  • Setting up and maintaining front-end testing infrastructure—unit, integration, visual, and E2E tests.
  • Managing front-end build optimization and contributing to CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation.
  • Monitoring performance and usability through observability tools and resolving front-end issues proactively.
  • Collaborating with backend engineers to align API contracts and improve integration layers.
  • Mentoring junior developers, leading code reviews, and promoting a culture of clean, scalable front-end practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong experience with modern frameworks like React.
  • Proficient in state management tools (Redux, Zustand, React Query).
  • Solid understanding of responsive design, modern CSS techniques (TailwindCSS, SASS, or CSS Modules).
  • Experience working with design systems and UI libraries; familiarity with tools like Storybook.
  • Deep understanding of web performance metrics (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals) and tuning strategies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation best practices (ARIA, semantic HTML).
  • Exposure to API integration (REST/GraphQL) and performance optimization at the network boundary.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for front-end workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with frontend observability tools (e.g., Sentry, Datadog RUM, LogRocket).
  • Understanding of Git workflows, environment-based configuration, and deployment automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, code debugging ability, and a keen eye for design alignment.
