About the Role: As a Data Privacy Compliance Officer, you will design, implement, and lead our comprehensive data protection and privacy program. You will leverage your expertise to guide our organisation's privacy and security initiatives, ensuring the highest compliance and data protection standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Architect: Develop and execute a comprehensive data protection and privacy program to safeguard the organisation's information assets.
- Risk Mitigation Strategist: Spearhead in-depth privacy and security reviews, audits, and assessments to proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Insightful Reporting: Generate detailed privacy reports, providing essential insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive Impact Analysis: Lead the execution of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) to evaluate risks associated with new systems and processes thoroughly.
- Compliance Champion: Design and implement rigorous data privacy controls that align with diverse country-specific regulations DPDPA, CCPA).
- Trusted Privacy Advisor: Offer strategic guidance on product implementations and client inquiries, ensuring adherence to data privacy best practices.
- Regulatory Guardian: Interpret and implement the latest cybersecurity and privacy guidelines established by regulatory bodies like the RBI.
- Compliance Assurance: Meticulously follow established procedures and contribute to the rigorous maintenance of security and compliance standards ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, UIDAI)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of various data privacy regulations and privacy concepts.
- Privacy Certifications like CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, DCPP etc.
Experience and Qualification:
- Proven experience with GDPR implementation or any other relevant regulations.
- Experience in Privacy Assessments, Vendor Risk Assessments, and responding to client RFPs.
- 5 to 9 years of overall experience in Privacy and Compliance roles
- Bachelor of Technology (BE/), or ME in Computer Science, MCA or equivalent.
Salary: We offer an attractive annual salary range of $120,000-$180,000 based on experience.
