Cyber Security Process Improvement Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to bridge the gap between business operations and Cyber Security functions by designing and implementing process enhancements that optimize the way businesses engage with strategic plans, standards, and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating Penetration Testing Schedules: Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar for all penetration testing activities, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to align efforts with business and security objectives.
  • Project Management and Monitoring: Track the progress of all penetration testing projects, applying insights from previous hands-on experience to anticipate and address potential challenges.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on the status, findings, and outcomes of penetration tests, leveraging knowledge of penetration testing methodologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Support the quality of penetration tests to ensure they meet internal standards, applying firsthand knowledge of effective testing strategies.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as a point of contact for 3rd party testing vendors, coordinate contract discussions, adherence to service level agreements, and budgets, evaluate vendor performance, and collect feedback.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in cyber security.
  • In-depth understanding of penetration testing methodologies.
  • Experience maintaining and developing automation using JIRA and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
