About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Program Director to lead our Global Procurement Technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and executing software programs that drive digitalization of Amazon's complex end-to-end Indirect Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support various business groups within the Global Procurement Organization's Technology Team, converting requests into well-formed projects, features, and deliverables to support multinational operations.
  • Orchestrate the creation of automated systems and metrics to support the organization in meeting its strategic business objectives through technology enablement.
  • Apply a structured change management approach and program management methodology to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Operate as a single-threaded leader of the projects within your portfolio, taking responsibility for creatively delivering results through partnerships, engineering, and process improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in technical product or program management
  • Experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience in software development
  • Experience in technical program management working directly with software engineering teams
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
Estimated Salary Range

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
