Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

This position is for a skilled developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom programs in SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development and a strong understanding of the technology stack.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom programs using SAP ABAP to meet business requirements
  • Implement reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces in SAP S/4HANA
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Perform data migration and conversion activities during the S/4HANA transition
  • Optimize ABAP code performance by leveraging S/4HANA capabilities such as CDS Views, AMDPs, and HANA-based tuning
  • Develop or enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and user interfaces (optional)
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects promptly
  • Maintain clean code and document technical specifications
  • Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in SAP ABAP development in S/4HANA environments
  • Hands-on expertise in WRICEF objects and full-cycle development within S/4HANA projects
  • Experience with data migration and conversion processes using LSMW, BAPIs, or custom programs
  • In-depth knowledge of IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs for SAP integration
  • Exposure to SAP Fiori and UI5 development (optional)
  • Experience with ABAP performance tuning, debugging, and optimization
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC vs. S/4HANA differences and new architecture enhancements
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team settings
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
