Job Description">

Piping Stress Engineers are required to design and analyze piping systems for various industries.

The role involves performing stress analysis using Caesar II software and pipe supports design for pipelines/piping above-ground and underground.

  • Conduct technical reviews of stress analysis and pipe support calculations to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safe design practices.

Designers must also be able to extract surge force from PIPENET that to be input in the stress analysis and also need to identify the surge force is appropriate or not.

Additionally, they must prepare surge analysis reports that to be submitted to employers as official deliverables.

Understanding process systems and analyzing them for pressure surges that could result from various possible events and provide recommendations to mitigate the same is also essential.

Required Skills & Qualifications">
  • In-depth knowledge of design codes and standards applicable for Pipe Stress Analysis (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ISO 14692).
  • Proficiency in CAESAR II and PIPENET software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with other disciplines.

Effective time management and organizational skills are also necessary to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
