Database Administrator for Oracle Applications

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our Oracle databases for large-scale applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, as well as performing performance tuning and optimization.

They should also be proficient in using various tools such as SQL Developer and Enterprise Manager to troubleshoot database issues.

A strong understanding of Oracle application database concepts is essential, along with the ability to collaborate with development teams to design data models and schema changes.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

Additionally, they will need to monitor and tune both application and database performance.

Our requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle application DBA role with expertise in Query optimization, cost analysis, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle application database concepts.
  • Proficiency in performing performance tuning techniques to optimize database queries.
  • Experience working on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders (Backend, frontend, Middleware, and core DBAs).
