Leadership Opportunity in Journalism and Mass Communication

We are seeking a seasoned academic professional to spearhead our Journalism and Mass Communication programs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring faculty members, and guiding student success.

About the Role:
  • Deliver expert lectures, workshops, and practical sessions across core areas of Journalism and Mass Communication, including Print, Broadcast, Digital Media, Advertising, and Public Relations.
  • Oversee curriculum design, academic planning, and content development to align with industry standards and academic benchmarks.
  • Mentor students in research, dissertation work, internships, and media production projects.
  • Evaluate student performance through structured assessments, presentations, and practical output.
  • Contribute to departmental strategy, policy-making, and quality assurance processes.
  • Guide and mentor junior faculty members, fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Promote the institution at conferences, seminars, and industry events, building visibility and partnerships.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments, technologies, and pedagogical methods in journalism and mass communication.
Key Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Journalism or Mass Communication.
  • Proven track record in academic leadership and curriculum development.
  • Expertise in teaching, research, and industry practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor students and faculty members.
