Game Artist Opportunity

Our team is developing an innovative, AI-driven gaming platform that focuses on personalization and emotional depth. The project involves designing a Tamagotchi-like game for Gen-Z players, where they adopt and raise intelligent pets, explore resources, and build a virtual world.

We're seeking a talented Junior Game Artist to join our collaborative, small-team environment. This role will involve:

  • Visual Concept Creation: Design and illustrate characters, environments, and props that embody playfulness and immersion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers to translate ideas into clear visual concepts.
  • Art Asset Development: Create production-ready art assets from concept sketches to polished game visuals.
  • Optimization: Collaborate with the Technical Artist to ensure assets are optimized and look great in-game.
  • Generative AI Integration: Use Generative AI platforms as part of the core workflow to produce production-ready art assets.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Game Artist.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing characters, environments, and props.
  • Solid understanding of color theory, shape, and composition.
  • Comfortable working with 2D digital art tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate).
  • Open to using AI tools as part of the creative toolkit.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
