Job Overview:

The Quality Assurance Automation Lead will be responsible for spearheading the QA automation strategy across web, mobile, and API platforms.

This includes designing and evolving automation frameworks to drive best practices and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python and a strong background in building and scaling automation frameworks.

They will also possess advanced proficiency in Playwright (Python) including framework enhancements and parallel execution.

The successful candidate will work with our existing Playwright-Python automation framework to ensure quality coverage across multiple modules.

They will support performance testing when needed and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to align testing efforts with release goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the QA automation strategy.
  • Design and evolve automation frameworks to drive best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and guide QA engineers through code reviews, training sessions, and leadership in quality culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security layers.

Requirements:

  • Programming & Frameworks: Expertise in Python and a strong background in building and scaling automation frameworks.
  • Web Automation: Advanced proficiency in Playwright (Python) including framework enhancements and parallel execution.
  • Mobile Automation: Hands-on experience with Appium (iOS & Android), including device cloud integration and orchestration.
  • API Testing: Strong experience with Postman, Python-based test suites, contract testing (Swagger/Pact), and service mocking.

Role Requirements: The ideal candidate will take ownership of automation across the full product suite—covering both web and mobile platforms.
