Job Description

This key role focuses on delivering cutting-edge network services and solutions that ensure seamless associate and contractor experiences. Working closely with new technologies, the successful candidate will provide technical expertise for all phases of the infrastructure lifecycle from ideation through execution, ongoing management, and service retirement/recycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, engineer, implement, and optimize LAN/WAN/Wifi network services for the corporate product adhering to all applicable standards.
  • Manage network service and circuit capacity.
  • Plan and deliver projects including hardware and software specification, vendor coordination, and full operational turnover.
  • Develop change plans and review run books.
  • Govern third-party service providers.
  • Provide level 3 escalation support for operational issues and/or outages.
  • Collaborate with key teams including Network Architects, Test and Certification, Information Security, Finance, Procurement, etc.
  • Participate in product strategy and planning.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to simplify, standardize, optimize, and automate network designs, tooling, and operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong background in enterprise networking with a focus on wireless, SD-WAN, and LAN infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in enterprise wireless protocols, RF site surveys, and security best practices.

Additional requirements include:

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in enterprise networking.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SD-WAN including policy configuration, site provisioning, and performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding and implementation experience with Fabric-based LAN architectures.
  • Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking concepts including VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and multicast.
  • Skilled in network monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tools.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with telco and ISP networks.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead network design and implementation projects independently or as part of a team.

Vendor experience with Cisco LAN/WAN/Wifi, HPE/Mist WiFi, Palo Alto Networks FW and SDWA, NetScout, Thousand Eyes, NetMRI, ServiceNow, Oracle SBCs, and VOIP is essential.

Exposure to CCaaS environments and familiarity with 14IP, CXOne, and other platforms is also beneficial.
