Control Risks is a global specialist risk consultancy that helps to create secure, compliant, and resilient organisations.

We are seeking a highly motivated and positive individual to join our Crisis and Security Consulting team as an Associate Risk Consultant. This role will involve providing risk consulting services to our clients in South Asia, with a particular focus on security risk assessments, security audits, and benchmarking.

The successful candidate will support an experienced team in delivering client engagements and solving complex security problems. This may involve responding to crisis issues and developing preventative risk management programs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting security reviews and audits to evaluate the existing security systems of varied industries.
  • Conducting threat and risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and recommending security countermeasures to clients from multiple sectors and industry segments.
  • Developing security policies and procedures.
  • Developing emergency/incident response plans against security risks, such as civil unrest, insurgency, workplace violence, armed robbery, arson, and terrorism.
  • Providing security management and close protection for client personnel.
  • Working closely with Control Risks' security partners to meet and exceed our standards for quality, compliance, and reliability.
  • Providing event security.
  • Providing operational support to the wider team, especially on internal administrative tasks.
  • Designing security awareness training programs that teach employees how to incorporate security policies and procedures into their jobs.
  • Delivering security-related training and workshops to clients across various industry segments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in conducting research and summarizing relevant information.
  • Deductive report writing skills using logical reasoning and incisive language.
  • Personal excellence in any field.

Essential:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.

Preferred:

  • At least 1+ years of consulting experience in a corporate or consulting environment, and/or working with multinational companies in India.
  • A track record of professional excellence in a related field.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., business continuity, security).
  • Knowledge of additional regional languages would be desirable.
