Job Title: Data Architect Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to build and automate data pipelines, manage multi-environment deployments, and work with modern DevOps/configuration management tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.
  • GitHub Branch Protection: Configure and maintain GitHub branch protection rules and workflows to ensure smooth code integration and deployment.
  • Large-Scale Data Processing: Develop, optimize, and debug Spark jobs in Databricks for large-scale data processing.
  • Databricks Deployments: Automate Databricks deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs) or similar frameworks.
  • Data Pipelines: Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and SQL.
  • Quality Checks: Implement unit testing, validation, and quality checks for data workflows.
  • Multitenant Deployment: Manage multiple environment deployments ensuring reliability and consistency.
  • Configuration Management: Create and maintain configuration files (YAML, JSON) for workflows, pipelines, and automation.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve configuration or syntax issues in YAML and related files.
  • Databricks Notebooks: Evaluate and improve critical Databricks notebooks to ensure business continuity.
  • Data Migration: Migrate legacy reports into modern, self-serve dashboards (Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data models, insights, and reporting they can trust.
