Job Summary

  • This is a challenging role in the field of data and document management in a SAP environment.

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage data and documents in our SAP system.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in application operations, system administration or similar roles.
  • A strong understanding of data avoidance and erasure principles is desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP customization and ABAP programming is an added advantage.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing archiving runs, collaborating with teams to create operating manuals and technical standards.
  • This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement ILM strategies and data storage concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data and documents in the SAP system ensuring adherence to data retention policies.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to advise on data and document management best practices.
  • Plan and execute archiving runs to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Maintain and further develop the archive system and associated tools.
  • Create and implement ILM strategies and data storage concepts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in application operations, system administration or similar roles.
  • Several years of experience in SAP Basis with focus on data and document management.
  • Strong knowledge of data avoidance and erasure principles.
  • SAP customization and ABAP programming skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Very good English language skills, both written and spoken.
