Embedded Firmware Engineer Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our organization. As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems
  • Develop, test, and debug system software
  • Review code and design
  • Enhance the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources
  • Integrate and validate new product designs
  • Support software QA and optimize I/O performance
  • Interface with hardware design and development
  • Assess third-party and open-source software

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound fundamentals of C programming
  • Knowledge of RTOS, Linux, microcontroller or microprocessor programming, and wireless technologies
  • Proven working experience in software engineering
  • Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review
  • Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
  • Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and datasheets for components
