Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team.

This role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement data strategy in the finance space, including use cases such as controllership, FP&A, and GPO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and driving end-to-end data and analytics solution architecture from concept to delivery
  • Developing and supporting conceptual/logical/physical data models for analytics solutions
  • Ensuring industry-accepted data architecture principles are integrated with allied disciplines
  • Driving the design, sizing, setup, etc. of Azure environments and related services
  • Mentoring on data architecture design and requirements to development and business teams
  • Reviewing solution requirements and architecture to ensure selection of appropriate technology and efficient use of resources
  • Advising on new technology trends and possible adoption to maintain competitive advantage

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with ETL development using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL technologies
  • In-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake, and ability to configure and administrate all aspects
  • Experience with different data models like normalised, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models
  • Data Quality Management and Data Architecture standardization experience
  • Deep understanding of operational dependencies of applications, networks, systems, security, and policy
  • Advanced study/knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with knowledge of software development and methodologies
