Job Opportunity

The Senior Functional Consultant role is a high-level position that requires expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience leading and managing implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects. This includes providing functional expertise in SAP SD processes such as order management, pricing, billing, and invoicing, as well as developing and maintaining functional specifications, business process designs, and solution blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SAP SD implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects
  • Provide functional expertise in SAP SD processes, including order-to-cash, billing, invoicing, pricing, and renewals
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, business process designs, and solution blueprints
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SD and other SAP modules
  • Conduct gap analysis and provide innovative solutions to meet business requirements
  • Lead configuration and customization efforts in SAP SD module
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support
  • Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for end-users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP SD processes
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP SD developments and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • SAP SD certification preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and invoicing
  • Strong understanding of integration points between SD and other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, etc.)
  • Experience in SAP SD configuration, customization, and ABAP development
  • Proficiency in creating functional specifications and technical design documents
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in managing client relationships and stakeholder expectations
