Seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to manage billing for Managed Care Organizations (MCO) as a Billing Specialist. Responsibilities include processing Assignment of Benefits (AOB) and Long-Term Care claims, handling Private Pay billing and follow-ups, logging and reconciling payments accurately, communicating with clients and internal teams via email and phone, and maintaining organized billing records.

About the Role:

  • Manage billing for MCOs, including AOB, Long-Term Care, and Private Pay
  • Process AOB and LTC claims, ensuring timely payment
  • Handle Private Pay billing, following up with clients and resolving any discrepancies
  • Log and reconcile payments accurately, utilizing industry-standard software
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams via email and phone, providing updates on billing status and addressing concerns
  • Maintain accurate and organized billing records, adhering to regulatory compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in homecare billing, including MCO, AOB, Long-Term Care, and Private Pay
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency in industry-standard billing software and systems
  • Aptitude for learning and adapting to new processes and technologies
