Web Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and maintaining websites using WordPress, with a focus on user experience, technical SEO best practices, and optimizing website functionality.

The successful candidate will work closely with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to build visually appealing, responsive, and high-performing websites. They will be responsible for:

  • Developing and customizing WordPress websites based on client specifications
  • Implementing and modifying themes, plugins, and custom functionalities
  • Conducting internal reviews and quality assurance before deployment
  • Ensuring website security, updates, and troubleshooting post-launch

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the website is mobile-friendly, responsive, and easy to navigate, conducting cross-browser testing and optimizing for fast load times, working closely with the design team to maintain brand consistency, and implementing a structured SEO checklist before website launch.

The successful candidate will also be involved in developing and integrating appointment booking features for healthcare websites, conducting pre-launch testing and ensuring seamless functionality, training end-users on using the appointment tool effectively, identifying and fixing bugs within a 48-hour resolution window, maintaining detailed documentation of issue resolutions, performing post-resolution quality checks to prevent recurrence, adhering to project timelines, maintaining daily progress updates, flagging potential risks early, and ensuring alignment on timelines, expectations, and deliverables with stakeholders.
