SAP PP/QM Implementation Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/QM implementation specialist to lead the configuration and implementation of SAP QM processes, including procurement inspection, in-process inspection, vendor evaluation, quality control, and batch management.

This is a critical role that requires strong knowledge of SAP PP and QM business processes, as well as experience in SAP implementation lifecycle activities such as testing, user support, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP QM processes, including procurement inspection, in-process inspection, vendor evaluation, quality control, and batch management.
  • Support SAP PP functionalities, ensuring accurate production planning, scheduling, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Execute end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycle activities, including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, user training, go-live support, and documentation.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, functional specifications, and configuration guides.
  • Provide ongoing user support for PP and QM modules, resolving system issues and ensuring operational continuity.
  • Work on SAP integration with related modules such as WM, PP, PM, and with external systems like LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
Requirements
  • 1-2 years functional experience and 7+ years with SAP PP and QM modules.
  • Hands-on SAP QM configuration: procurement, inspection, vendor evaluation, quality control, batch management.
  • Strong knowledge of PP and QM business processes.
  • Experience in SAP implementation lifecycle: testing, user support, and documentation.
  • Ability to analyze requirements, configure systems, and create process documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration (WM, PP, PM) and external systems like LIMS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Certification in QM/PLM modules.
  • Experience using Solution Manager in implementations.
  • Exposure to integration with MM, WM, SD, PM, PP modules.
