Pharmacovigilance professionals play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients worldwide. As a Data Officer, you will contribute to our team and collaborate with us to safeguard public health.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for processing and managing pharmacovigilance data, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process.
  • Your primary task will be to receive, process, and enter local safety cases into our system, while also conducting quality control (QC) tracking and ICSR follow-up for our clients.
  • Additionally, you will manage email boxes as needed, register, triage, assign, and coordinate vigilance case processing.
  • Communication is key in this role; you will need to follow up with local reporters and respond to client queries efficiently.
  • In order to ensure accurate handling of vigilance reports, you will conduct periodic reconciliations and provide support for local pharmacovigilance activities when required.
  • You will also participate in audits and assist with resulting action plans.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or a science-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in pharmacovigilance, including data entry and QC of cases.
  • Prior experience working under deadlines and communicating with clients effectively.
  • Familiarity with US and EU PV regulations, as well as a pharmaceutical background.
  • An in-depth understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and adverse event reporting.
