The Senior Biostatistician Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Statistician to lead our clinical trials and data analyses, utilizing their skills in statistical leadership and support.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in study-related activities, and perform critical tasks such as sample size calculations and validation of analysis variables.

About This Role

This Senior Statistician position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex clinical trials, ensuring the accuracy of final statistical deliverables. You will provide guidance and supervision to programmers, author or review statistical analysis plans, and coordinate with biostatisticians and data managers.

  • Leadership and Support: Lead project teams and manage members effectively, working collaboratively in diverse organization structures.
  • Data Analysis: Perform and oversee quality control (QC) of data displays with inferential statistics, and conduct QC analysis datasets prepared by others.
  • Statistical Expertise: Provide high-quality, reliable statistical expertise and support, maintaining project administration files including protocols, annotated CRFs, and statistical analysis plans.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in statistics or related fields with 6+ years of industry experience as a Statistician or a PhD degree with 3+ years of postgraduate experience in Biostatistics or equivalent.
  • Solid statistics background and training, working knowledge of advanced statistical methodologies, and SAS programming skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead project teams and work effectively in diverse organization structures.
