Job Title: Data Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to oversee governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives in alignment with industry standards. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our IT governance strategy, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling continuous improvement across IT functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT governance frameworks and operations in alignment with industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate IT risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with industry-standard frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
