Job Overview:

This role involves managing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and maintaining robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee US GAAP close processes for a legal entity, driving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead local statutory audits, preparing financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS regulations.
  • Evaluate risks associated with accounts and areas of responsibility, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare journal entries, maintain account reconciliations, and ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies.
  • Analyze technical accounting issues, documenting company positions and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls, ensuring subsidiaries comply with company policies.
  • Collaborate with the compliance team to improve processes and internal controls within the area of responsibility.
  • Stay updated on evolving accounting standards and regulatory updates in the region.
Tax and Compliance Obligations:
  • Calculate and report tax estimates, accruals, and advance tax computations.
  • Fulfill timely and accurate tax return filing obligations for Intuit India entity.
  • Support the tax team in managing India tax matters and regional initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, with mandatory CA/CPA qualification, and 4-6 years of experience in accounting, book closing, and tax compliance.
  • Experience in end-to-end legal entity level account finalization according to IFRS /Ind AS accounting standards.
  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting, withholding tax, regular tax compliance, transfer pricing, CbyC reporting, GST, and other tax compliances.
