We are seeking a skilled Firmware Developer to join our team at Copeland. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Secure Firmware development as part of Scrum team
  • Participate in all Scrum Events
  • Contribute to all development activities such as requirement analysis, design, work product reviews, unit testing, and testing to achieve sprint goals
  • Represent the team as needed in global meetings
  • Support legacy products as needed
  • Adhere to local and international Copeland principles, practices, and procedures

Who You Are:

You will be a self-motivated firmware developer who understands systems, connects with marketing to finalize requirements, and implements solutions as part of a team. Teamwork and quality with timeliness are essential to your success, and you must be able to gel with our team culture.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computers, Electricals, or Instrumentation with a good score from a reputable college
  • Minimum years of experience in Embedded Domain, including bare metal and RTOS-based systems, with at least years of experience with C++
  • Skilled in software development, preferably within an industrial computing environment
  • Proficient in OOAD, good SW design skills using real-time concepts and data structures
  • Strong debugging skills with debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of industry communication protocols, PLC, RTU, transmitters, sensors, etc.
  • Detail knowledge and experience of Secure Development
  • Innovative, capable of deep diving and thinking customer-centric
  • Capable of developing solutions from single-line requirements
  • Action-oriented and full of energy for challenging tasks
  • Functional, technical knowledge, and skills to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment
  • Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
