Senior Data Scientist – Forecasting Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Scientist to drive business growth through advanced data science methods and tools.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in statistics, economics, or a related field, with at least 5-9 years of experience as a Data Scientist in the industry.

You will be working on various projects, including point forecasting and probabilistic forecasting, utilizing techniques such as ARIMA, THETA, Exponential Smoothing, GBM, LightGBM, XGBoost, Linear Regression, DeepAR, NBEATS, LSTM, RNN, and Hierarchical Forecasting.

Able to design, develop, and deploy simulation models using Anylogic and other technologies.

MLOps and exposure to LLM or GPT are also beneficial skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced data science methods and tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
  • Design, develop, and deploy simulation models
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Sciences, Engineering, or quantitative related field
  • Minimum 5-9 years of working experience as a Data Scientist in the industry
  • Deep and broad knowledge of Data Science methods and tools
