About the Position

We are seeking a skilled backend developer to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable server-side applications using modern frameworks and database technologies.

  • Design and develop backend services using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture using NestJS framework.
  • Implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations using PostgreSQL database.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit and integration tests.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Work with DevOps teams on deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS framework.
  • Solid experience working with PostgreSQL database.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, or similar).
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
