Senior Java Engineering Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Engineering Lead to spearhead the development of scalable and efficient web applications.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing web applications using Java technologies, with a strong background in JEE and Spring Frameworks.
  • A deep understanding of microservices architecture, Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with build tools such as JMS/WebSphere MQ/Kafka message broker, Restful web services, and Jenkins is also required.
  • The successful candidate will lead the implementation of microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, as well as staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, are critical aspects of this position.

About the Role

  • Spearhead the design and development of scalable and efficient web applications using Java technologies.
  • Lead the implementation of microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design patterns and anti-patterns.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our organization remains competitive.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in web application design and development with Java/JEE technologies.
  • Excellent understanding and practical experience of Spring Frameworks (IOC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Security etc.).
  • Good understanding of Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
  • Build tool expertise including JMS/WebSphere MQ/Kafka message broker, Restful web services, and Jenkins.
  • Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent understanding of Microservices architecture.
