Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead our product development efforts for energy meters and EV chargers. This is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, hands-on technical capabilities, and excellent communication skills to drive innovation and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development:

• Lead the design of hardware, firmware, and mechanical components for energy meters and EV chargers, effectively managing cross-functional teams.

• Oversee the development of industrial IOT-enabled smart energy meters and innovative EV charging solutions, aligning with market trends and customer requirements.

• Develop and manage tender requirements, collaborating with technology partners and vendors.

• Design review and critical problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Validation and Testing:

• Establish and manage protocols for product validation and testing, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

• Analyze test results and implement necessary improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.

• Conduct reliability testing for a 15-year lifecycle of the product, considering various field scenarios.

• Liaise with Government and Private Labs for certification and compliance purposes.

Project Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Projects, production, and quality assurance, to meet project deadlines.

• Manage technical aspects of product lifecycle, from prototyping to mass production and Repair and Servicing.

Compliance and Certification:

• Ensure that all products meet national and international regulatory standards, including BIS, IEC, and other required certifications.
