We are currently hiring a Senior Merchandiser at Prometheus Consulting Services.

Key responsibilities include overseeing buyer approval processes, liaising with production teams, and collaborating with design, quality control, and logistics departments to ensure smooth consignment delivery. Travel for on-site quality control inspections may be required.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in footwear merchandising, strong understanding of outdoor footwear trends, materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes, as well as familiarity with retail merchandising, product lifecycle management, and inventory control.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee buyer approval processes and maintain records according to SOPs and company standards.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure timely sample and production delivery.
  • Collaborate with design, quality control, and logistics departments to ensure smooth consignment delivery.
  • Travel for on-site quality control inspections as needed.
  • Handle material sourcing and supplier coordination for footwear production.
  • Independently generate footwear export inquiries/orders and secure sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with international buyers and ensure clear communication.
  • Monitor the order process from sample approval to shipment.
  • Ensure timely approval of footwear samples, sizes, and trims.
  • Assist in day-to-day merchandising activities and order management.
