Senior Leadership Position

As a seasoned professional, you will lead the technical vision and roadmap for power electronics systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Define and own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for power electronics systems.
  • System Design: Lead the design, simulation, prototyping, and validation of high-efficiency rectifier and DC-DC converter systems (10 kW to >5 MW).
  • Innovation: Drive innovation in cost-effective, scalable, and high-efficiency power conversion for electrolyzer stacks.
  • Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of power electronics engineers and technicians.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with component vendors, contract manufacturers, and external design partners.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant grid codes, EMC/EMI standards, UL, IEC, IEEE, or other regulatory frameworks.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Product, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to align technical goals with commercial requirements.
  • IP Strategy: Support the development of internal and external IP strategy in power electronics and system design.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power electronics.
  • Experience: 18+ years of industry experience in power electronics, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of AC-DC and DC-DC conversion topologies, especially in multi-kilowatt to multi-megawatt power classes. Experience with medium voltage systems and safe, reliable system design in those domains. Proven success delivering modular, scalable, and high-efficiency electrical architectures under cost and performance constraints.
