Senior Physical Design Engineer Job Opportunity

MosChip is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Physical Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and knowledge in Cadence, Synopsys, or Magma physical design tools, as well as expertise in scripting languages such as PERL and TCL.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with front-end ASIC teams to resolve complex issues and drive project success.
  • Design low-power circuits utilizing techniques like voltage islands, power gating, and substrate-bias to optimize performance and reduce energy consumption.
  • Closure of timing on DDR2/DDR3/PCIE interfaces through meticulous analysis and optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will be responsible for static timing analysis using Primetime or Primetime-SI and possess strong physical verification skills. Additionally, they should have excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling them to document plans clearly and effectively communicate with the team.
