Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all quality assurance and surveillance activities are executed in accordance with established standards, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement goals.

This position involves conducting thorough audits, analyzing data, identifying non-compliance issues, and supporting corrective actions across various business functions.

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to support our Quality Assurance and Surveillance team in the following key responsibilities:

  • Perform process audits, surveillance checks, and quality inspections to ensure compliance
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action tracking to drive improvements
  • Monitor and report quality metrics (e.g., compliance rate, defect trends) to inform strategic decisions
  • Maintain accurate audit records and contribute to QMS documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process adherence and promote a culture of excellence
  • Assist in training and awareness programs related to quality standards to enhance employee capabilities

Additionally, this role will involve:

Dashboard Management

Ensuring dashboards accurately reflect real-time or periodic updates of QA and surveillance metrics for informed decision-making.

Gathering data from multiple sources including Jira, ServiceNow, internal databases, and QA tools to provide a comprehensive view of quality performance.

Designing, building, and maintaining interactive KPI dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to visualize quality data and drive insights.

Data Collection & Analysis

Validating data accuracy and completeness before integration into dashboards to ensure reliable information.

QA & Surveillance Metrics

Analyzing trends and anomalies in QA and surveillance performance to identify areas for improvement.

Tracking key metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, surveillance alerts, compliance adherence, and resolution times to measure quality performance.

Generating weekly/monthly reports and executive summaries based on dashboard insights to communicate key findings and recommendations.

Reporting & Communication

Presenting findings to stakeholders and recommending actions based on data trends to drive strategic decisions.

Documenting findings and escalating non-compliance issues to relevant stakeholders to facilitate timely resolutions.
