Fashion Product Developer

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire merchandising process, including collection development, sample creation, and order management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design teams to create seasonal collections that meet customer requirements.
- Develop and negotiate purchase orders while managing material supply chains.
- Ensure timely delivery of products, maintaining high-quality standards and budget adherence.
- Lead cross-functional teams, promoting effective communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Manage small and high-value business cases, leveraging expertise in woven garment manufacturing.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or Fashion Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–8 years of experience as a Merchandiser in a woven garment factory (buyer handling experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of textile industry trends, market analysis, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MIS systems.
- Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
