FA&A Associate .Net Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated .Net developer to join our Finance Centre of Excellence team. As a FA&A Associate .Net Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the Finance Technology Automation portfolio, performing analysis and providing maintenance of the Finance Technology Automation Tools and reports, and providing quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and support of the Finance Technology Automation portfolio
  • Perform analysis and provide maintenance of the Finance Technology Automation Tools and reports
  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant information
  • Design comprehensive solutions, translating complex requirements into an optimal Development Designs
  • Build Web solutions using Development design patterns, OOP and MVC, among others
  • Work tasks encompass concepts within the web development best practices which might include:Experience in Agile Scrum Methodology and usage of tools like JIRA.Exposure to HP Service Management & HP Quality Center
  • Performs program modifications, performance tuning, problem-solving, debugging, and unit testing

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in IT-related field
  • IT Bachelor-level university/college degree in IT-related field
  • Team-oriented person who can focus on the details
  • Working Knowledge of ITIL methodology (Incident Management/Change Management)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, support and maintain the tools and projects handled by the team
  • Experience on back-end Development such as .NET, ColdFusion, Java, or similar Object-oriented languages
  • Basic understanding of the Front-end development technologies such as (JS, jQuery, Ajax, JSON)
  • Basic expertise understanding Web Development concepts such as (MVC, OOP, Design Patterns)
  • Experience in SQL Scripting using various Data Type extension, Variables, Procedures, Triggers, Joins, Modelling Language and Best Practices
  • Familiar with HANA Studio/ MS SQL Studio/Snowsight; knowledge of data modeling in multiple databases such as Snowflake, Hana View, and Teradata
  • Basic Knowledge in integration services such as SSIS
  • Business acumen: capable of understanding finance concepts, processes, and measures contained in user requirements documentation
  • Fluent in English - read, write, speak
  • A problem solver with a client service and quality-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills

Desired Experience:

  • Some exposure to scripting language – Python, Java, R
  • Understanding of client/server architecture for Web Development
  • Familiar with Alteryx desktop and server schedule, monitor, and enhance workflow performance

  • Self-motivated with curiosity; willing to continuously learn new systems, processes, and skills
  • Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and have strong independent problem-solving skills
  • Strong project leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of information technology opportunities and the ability to evaluate ideas and make proposals
  • Ability to multi-task is inherent in the job responsibilities
  • Ability to collaborate / teamwork skills is inherent in the job responsibilities
  • Must be able to travel internationally if needed
