Quality Assurance Engineer Job

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to drive quality across our software products. This role involves designing test strategies, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to identify, track, and resolve issues while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

  • Develop and implement test plans, cases, and automation frameworks to ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing to identify potential issues early on.
  • Conduct regression, exploratory, and usability testing to validate product quality.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to automate testing processes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  • Create and maintain documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with security and industry standards such as GDPR and ISO 27001 to protect customer data.
  • Provide test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance product quality.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices to promote knowledge sharing and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
