Job Title:

Senior Information Systems Specialist

About the Role:

This senior IT position focuses on technology expertise, specifically geared towards individuals with experience in virtualization infrastructure, networking, cloud computing and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as an escalation point for complex issues related to cloud management, virtualization, and network security.
  • Design, implement, and support virtualization infrastructure (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS, SRM).
  • Manage and optimize network environments (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, load balancers).
  • Administer and secure cloud platforms (IaaS, VMs, storage, backup, monitoring).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Level 3 / senior engineer role.
  • Knowledge of ITIL concepts (especially Incident Management).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) certification.
  • Citrix Certified Associate/Professional (CCA-V, CCP-V) certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate / Solutions Architect Expert certification.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with advanced level troubleshooting on virtualization infrastructure.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
