Transforming Marketing Operations through Exceptional Event Execution

We're seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Operations Director to bridge the gap between marketing strategy and flawless event execution. This role combines agency-side client management with operational excellence, ensuring our events deliver measurable marketing results while leveraging core strengths in audience intelligence and vendor partnerships.

The Key Responsibilities of this Role Include:

  • Liaising with Event Production teams to ensure end-to-end event production, from initial strategy development through post-event analysis for multiple concurrent client campaigns
  • Translating client marketing objectives into targeted event experiences using proprietary audience intelligence
  • Coordinating with creative teams to ensure event design aligns with broader marketing campaign goals

Client Partnership & Campaign Management:

  • Serving as primary operational point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Leading client calls, presenting campaign strategies, and providing regular performance updates
  • Collaborating with account management to develop integrated marketing campaigns where events drive lead generation and brand engagement
  • Managing campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple clients simultaneously

Team Management and Performance Analysis:

  • Overseeing a team of 20-30 full-time employees which includes Regional Customer Success Managers, Audience Acquisition Team Leads, Campaign Specialists, and Data Research Associates
  • Tracking and analyzing campaign performance metrics, connecting event activities to marketing outcomes and ROI
  • Using audience data and campaign insights to continuously optimize event experiences and operational processes

Required Qualifications include Experience:

  • 12-15 years of progressive experience in marketing operations, event marketing, or experiential marketing with demonstrated leadership responsibility
  • Proven track record managing events at marketing agencies or in-house marketing teams
  • Experience with both micro-events and large-scale productions across various industries
  • Background in campaign management with understanding of marketing attribution and ROI measurement

Key Skills and Competencies include Strong Project Management Capabilities, Vendor Management Experience, Proficiency with Marketing Technology Stack, Understanding of Integrated Marketing Campaigns, and Crisis Management Abilities.

A successful candidate will have a Data-driven Mindset, Client-facing Communication Skills, and Team Coordination Skills. They will be able to present strategies, manage expectations, and handle real-time event challenges. Preferred qualifications include Experience at Experiential Marketing Agencies or Event Marketing Firms, Background in B2B Marketing, and Project Management Certification.
