As a senior site reliability engineer, you will be responsible for designing and managing large-scale observability infrastructure using the ELK stack. You will work closely with the engineering team to drive automation and efficiency across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
  • Automate deployment and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure reliability and performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
  • Collaborate with the security and operations teams to enhance security and compliance across DevOps workflows.
  • Manage and scale large ELK clusters handling log volumes of 2-3 TB/day, ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
  • 4+ years of dedicated experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Strong experience managing large-scale ELK clusters in production with heavy ingestion.
  • Deep knowledge of index tuning, shard allocation, ILM policies, and scaling ELK components.
  • Expertise in GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and scripting.
