Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled programmer to join our team in Chennai, India. As a developer, you will analyze business and technical designs, processes, and using current programming languages and technologies, write code, complete programming tasks, and perform testing and debugging of applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write efficient, reusable, optimal, and well-documented code.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software according to organizational systems standards, policies, and procedures, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Under guidance, debug problems and resolve technical issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-6 years of experience in the IT industry in software development area.
  • Technical skills: Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, IMS-DB, JCL, Easytrieve.
  • Desirable: JIRA and Confluence hands-on, process knowledge, SDLC phases, domain knowledge (Banking domain knowledge preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 4-year college degree in Engineering discipline preferred.
