Financial Professional

A Financial Professional is responsible for ensuring business transactions are accurately recorded and reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

  • Review financial data to identify any discrepancies or areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with team members to assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Assist with the annual audit process, including the preparation of financial statements and related notes.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Manage financial accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
  • Prepare financial entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information.
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing financial options.
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Maintain financial controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Guide financial staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secure financial information by completing database backups.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
  • Answer financial procedure questions by researching and interpreting financial policy and regulations.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be proficient with financial software, preferably QuickBooks or Tally.
