Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Solution Support Group. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 24x7 support for our cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless upgrades, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and Maintenance
    • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, identifying root causes and implementing resolutions.
    • Ensure timely and efficient deployment of new features and upgrades.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures and processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with product development, product management, and sales/pre-sales teams to resolve complex issues.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and executive-level professionals.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS), automation/container management (Kubernetes), and related tools.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Technical Skills
    • Intermediate to advanced RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience.
    • Knowledge of web technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, OpenAM). OutSystems a plus.
    • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS) and automation/container management (Kubernetes, etc.).
    • Working knowledge of relational database systems – MySQL, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Oracle 11 and Oracle RAC.
  • Soft Skills
    • Ambitious and self-driven individual with a passion for problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
