Firewall Network Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Firewall Network Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security operations, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust firewall access control lists (ACLs) to safeguard network resources and prevent unauthorized access.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure firewall configurations to ensure the integrity of our cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and secure cloud architectures, including VPCs, firewalls, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Maintain Terraform configurations for infrastructure provisioning and management, leveraging your expertise in this area.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud networking, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in networking concepts, with a strong understanding of cloud environments and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with public clouds, preferably GCP or AWS, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Mid-level proficiency in Terraform, with the ability to ramp up on CloudFormation for AWS candidates.
  • Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer.
