About the Role


At Iron Mountain, we're seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team and play a key role in our Privileged Management System. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Active Directory, Linux, Windows Servers, and Windows workstations.


About the Job


This is an interdisciplinary role that requires a good balance of technical skills and communication expertise. As a System Administrator, you'll be responsible for handling requests and incident tickets, collaborating with technical teams, and working closely with Information Security teams and vendor Support teams.


Responsibilities



  • Processing Secret Server access and Privilege Manager elevated workstation access requests, incident and critical incident tickets
  • Creating and maintaining reporting and metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of the process and tools, and highlight inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintaining the quality of the system data to ensure accuracy
  • Working with technical teams from other disciplines to increase compliance with IS policies and standards by removing blockers to password rotation
  • Participating in system upgrades and testing for Privilege Management tools
  • Identifying and removing workstation policy configurations that are preventing Privileged Management tools from working effectively
  • Managing secret templates and developing customized solutions to meet business needs
  • Monitoring unauthorized local admin access channels and removing them
  • Adding new programs and elevation needs to Privileged Management tools

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant field
  • At least 2 years experience working with Secret Server, Privilege Access Manager, or equivalent privileged management tools
  • Demonstrates a familiarity Information Security standards and how they relate to Security policies
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and compare large data sets to identify patterns, discrepancies, and anomalies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
