Job Opportunity

This position is a specialized software product verification engineer role that involves improving the quality of products and benchmarks. You will be working with a core team of talented industry specialists using the latest hardware and software technology.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution, communicate effectively, and work optimally with different teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases to validate all products.
  • Automate tests using Python.
  • Identify, document, and track issues using JIRA.
  • Participate in new ASIC and hardware bring up initiatives.
  • Report coverage metrics using tools.
  • Review requirements and create associated test cases to ensure traceability.
  • Debug existing issues and research alternative ways to accomplish tasks efficiently.
  • Develop technical relationships with peers and partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong object-oriented programming background with 8+yrs of hands-on experience.
  • Understanding of FPGA design flow and tools (Design Entry, Synthesis, Simulation, and Implementation).
  • AMD/Xilinx Vivado Design Suite experience.
  • Hands-on experience with simulators like XSIM, Questa, Modesim, VCS, etc.
  • Ability to debug code with attention to detail.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and/or Android operating system development.
  • Software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub), and profilers are a plus.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting preferably TCL.

Academic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
