Job Opportunity

Seeking a talented Database Professional to lead our team in designing and implementing robust database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, CTEs using T-SQL.
  • Design logical and physical data models, prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use.
  • Ensure database optimization, integrity, consistency, security, and privacy.
  • Provide support and guidance to developers on database design and implementation.
  • Create scripts to build new database objects.
  • Perform schema design, code review, and SQL query tuning using execution plans and audit mechanisms.
  • Participate in SQL code reviews, write and deploy SQL Objects in production, and implement HA/DR using SQL Server Always-on Availability Groups.
  • Administer SQL server, including user management, permissions, backups, recovery, monitoring, and more.
  • Evaluate software components and tools for system improvements as required.
  • Collaborate with the service layer to resolve issues and develop specifications.
  • Work in an Agile environment with a team to address bugs, plan schemas, and respond quickly to business needs.
  • Provide input on data solution design and implementation.
  • Review and evaluate team performance.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a database developer or engineer with Microsoft SQL Server as primary DBMS.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Ability to create BI Solutions (ETL and Reporting).
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and best practices around database operations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Python, pandas, MySQL, Postgres SQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP.
