Structural Engineer Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer to lead our social infrastructure projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute their expertise in structural design, analysis, and engineering to drive project success.

  • Develop and implement structural designs for social infrastructure projects, including schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, and water supply structures.
  • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Conduct structural analysis and verify compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including IS codes, NBC, and international best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, comprising architects, civil engineers, and specialists, to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Evaluate foundation design, load calculations, earthquake-resistant design, and durability aspects to ensure the structure's integrity.
  • Prepare comprehensive design basis reports, structural BOQs, and cost estimates to support project decision-making.
  • Review DPR deliverables from a structural perspective to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, focusing on capacity building and knowledge transfer.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in civil engineering and post-graduate degree in structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive collaboration and result-oriented outcomes.
